Ronda Holidays – holiday rentals, tips and activities in Ronda and Andalusia

Restaurants

Ronda is famous not only for its spectacular location and rich history, but also for its vibrant culinary scene. Whether you're looking for an authentic tapas bar, a charming local café, or a gourmet dinner with a view, you'll find it all in Ronda. We've compiled a few recommendations for you in various price ranges.

Affordable & cozy

For a tasty, affordable bite, head to Bar El Lechuguita, a typical Spanish tapas bar where you can fill a table for just a few euros. This no-nonsense bar is popular with locals and is known for its fast service and delicious classics like albóndigas (meatballs) and ensaladilla rusa.

Another great option is Las Maravillas, located on the main street. Here you'll find creative tapas with a modern twist in an atmospheric setting. Perfect for those looking for something special without breaking the bank. Unlike many other Spanish restaurants, this restaurant doesn't close during the day; they're open non-stop from 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM.

Craving Italian? Il Forno a Legna is a charming Italian restaurant and pizzeria. The menu is varied and offers a wide selection of pizzas, pastas, salads, and homemade desserts. There are also vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. It's the only place in Ronda with an authentic wood-fired oven – fueled by oak – where they prepare fresh pizzas and pasta daily.

Middle class with atmosphere

For something a little more upscale, yet still very affordable,  Restaurante Pedro Romero  is highly recommended. Located across from the famous bullring, this restaurant combines stylish decor with traditional Andalusian dishes like rabo de toro (oxtail stew) and grilled Iberian ham.

Tragatá, the smaller version of the renowned Bardal, it offers refined tapas with a creative, modern flair. Think Asian-inspired baos or tuna tartare with avocado. Perfect for an evening of culinary delights.

Tabanco Los Arcos Originally a wine bar, it serves delicious tapas and other small dishes. Located near the iconic Puente Nuevo, it offers an authentic Andalusian atmosphere with views of the famous Ronda gorge.

Fine dining

For an exclusive experience, visit  Bardal, Ronda's only two-Michelin-star restaurant. Chef Benito Gómez serves seasonal menus showcasing local produce at its finest. Reservations are essential.

For a dinner with a view,  Restaurante Albacara  is a wonderful choice. From the terrace, you can look out over the deep gorge and the bridge. The food—a mix of classic Spanish and modern influences—completes the picture.

Breakfast

What's more enjoyable on vacation than breakfasting out? For many, it's the ultimate luxury: no rush, enjoying a cup of coffee with something sweet or a tostada con tomate while the morning sun slowly warms the city. Here are a few suggestions for places where locals and travelers gather for a relaxing start to the day:
